After metal bond toolings grinding process, some contractors use hybrid polishing tools as transitonal polishing steps for removal the scraches . There are two typle hybrid toolings: copper bond polishing and and ceramic bond polishing pads.

Hybrid Polishing pads is actually bonded by resins, but diamonds particles are coated with copper or ceramic so that they get larger sizes and more aggressive and sharp. The pads with copper or ceramic mixed in, the hybrid polishing tools becomes more stonger than resin bond tools.
